- Do I need a service upgrade first?
- Sometimes, but not always. Load calculations and load-management devices often make a charger workable on an existing service.
- Hardwired or plug-in?
- Both are valid. The choice usually comes down to the charger you own, outdoor exposure and whether you may relocate the unit later.
- How far can the charger be from the panel?
- Longer runs are routine; they mainly affect conductor sizing and routing, which we plan before quoting.
